Repurposing of historical transport infrastructure facilities from the 18th and 19th centuries
Incoming article date: 11.04.2025Over the course of a thousand-year history of development, various types of transport facilities have emerged, disappeared, or been revived. Many industrial and transport infrastructure facilities have lost their current functions, but have historical value. Historical buildings of stables, carriage houses, post stations, tram and railway depots need renovation and repurposing for new current functions. Each of these facilities has its own design and planning features, which can become determining factors when choosing a new purpose.
